The Star / Leake Pit House, West Leake

Recently re-opened this pub has been transformed - all for the better. Rooms have been knocked through to create a large bar area with a good selection of beers, lagers and wines. Food is available- and looked good. Hopefully after a chequered recent past which has seen many tenants come and go, the Pit House is back for good.

The Plough, Wysall

Easily the best pub for miles around.Great beers (and a huge selection), great wines, excellent bar staff, lovely fire in winter and superb garden in summer. Forget the previous posting -this pub is dog friendly!

The Nags Head, East Leake

Went into the Nags last week and great wine is back - the horrid wine pump has gone and the Pedigree was excellent. Well worth the visit - fab pub.
