The Beehive, Lostock

I don't like this pub either. The food all tastes the same; is rarely hot or arrives at the same time.
Football days are awful, with every nobhead from all around crammed inside.
The only good thing I would say about the place is it is cheap. So, if you want a cheap meal for all the family, with a wacky warehouse to throw the kids in while you eat cold, late food at a dirty table, this is your place.

Blundell Arms, Horwich

I absolutely love this place. My hubby and I go here whenever we can. Yes, the prices are restaurant prices, but then it is restaurant quality food!
The wine list is extensive and we've never yet had a bad one (we've prob tried most)!
We tend to spend around �40-�50 here when we go for a meal for two; but it's a full evening of drinking, eating and relaxing in nice surroundings with friendly, attentive staff, so it's well worth it. We always leave full and contented; and a little tipsy too!
