Went for some food last week. The 'bar manager' looked like he'd just come out of prison and had an attitude to match. His exact words were 'table number?', followed by a blank stare. When we stared back, he eventually managed to summon up the words 'What can I get you?', but only very begrudgingly.

The tables were dirty, the food took ages and was only lukewarm.....

One example: sizzling chicken burger. Arrived with a stale/toasted roll with no butter, 2 dry, battered chicken breasts, 3 dry onion rings, a piece of bacon and a pot of sauce. It was like eating cardboard. Cold cardboard.

Save yourself the money and go to Tesco and buy some frozen food..... it will taste better too no doubt, and the staff will be friendlier!

I cant believe this pub's got a horrificly low rating! It's great! Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely-looking waiter's...

Me and my Mum went in the Christmas holidays for a lunch, and I had the smaller-portioned Italian chicken, salad and chips, while my Mum had the smaller-portioned Piri Piri Chicken Skewers and chips, and I opted for the hot fudge chocolate pudding, with cream, which was GORGEOUS. And it was cheap! It's great, just great, and the table's are nice and spacious, which is something you don't find so much now-a-days.

Another of those 'two for the price of one' meal pubs, consequently single meals are riduculously expensive.

Called in here on a Friday night and the karaoke was certainly attracting the yob element. Tables were dirty and hadn't been cleared from ealier meals, the pub is looking pretty scuffy these days and it seems the staff have just given up. No real ales served, its hard to think of a reason to visit.
