| I've visited this alehouse on three occasions and have found it most welcoming.Located a stones throw away from Bolton Wanderers FC 's Reebok Stadium it offers the ideal pre-match experience.A reasonable selection of locally brewed ales were on offer and I enjoyed both of the two pints I consumed - as a Southerner I enjoyed the prices too! Clearly not designed as a gastro outlet this pub has a basic food menu,but the service is quick and the fayre is perfectly adequate.A cosy,covered smoking area is complemented by a TV in a handily placed window.Well worth a visit. bigfatfrank - 7 Mar 2010 21:34 |
