Boy did they do this place up! It is unrecognisable from the dilapidated & filthy state it was in before. Dare I say it is a tad boring now?....still, you cant please everyone...

All change again....this could be a great 'locals' pub if they got the right Landlords in and did it up a bit, none of these transients care.

Good Luck Bernie...friendly pub as long as you are not a stranger. Could do with some TLC however, especially outside for the Summer (and the smokers)

Not for me, too expensive and seating mostly uncomfortable. However, probably the only Pub in Staines I'd take my Mum to....

Looks a treat with its posh new decor. In my humble opinion best 'normal' pub in Staines. Good mixed crowd.

The Dog and Partridge, Staines
Needs to be sectioned off into smaller bar areas - for example lounge-family room-sport bar. Too many small kids running amok. Rough & ready and not for strangers.

I agree with Graham (Oct 2009). This is the real deal, nothing plastic or chavvy about it. Incidentally I happened to be in the pub the last time the local, so called 'Nazi Skinheads' were there, all I can say is that they kept the Jukebox going all night with great tunes!! They are mostly too old to be the surly troublemakers one may expect...
