This used to be one of our favourite eating places, until it changed hands. Now it is not worth visiting. Very disappointing and a real letdown after the previous people had built up a wonderful atmosphere.

A popular pub with excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. As "silver surfers" we are pleased to recommend it.

The Ridley Arms, Stannington
One of the best eateries in the Tyneside area. Food is good, menu varied and staff helpful.
