Frieda B, Battersea

A nice friendly wine bar which is tastefully decorated. It has a local crowd during the week and at the weekends tends to get very busy with parties downstairs.

The Wheatsheaf, Fulham

I have been to the Wheatsheaf to watch rugby - it was heaving - but had a great atmosphere. And more recently I have been to the quiz on a Thursday night.. which was great fun! The food is cheaper than most London pubs & the portions are great. Worth a visit if you are a sports fan.

Lord Nelson, Sneinton

The Lord Nelson used to be my local when I was at university!!!

What a great pub!! It is like a village pub which has been dropped into the middle of Sneinton - once you walk in it is hard to believe you are in Nottingham.

The beer was excellent, the sunday lunches superb and the locals were friendly.

Definatley worth a visit

The Fox and Hounds, Battersea

a really nice pub with a good mixture of people. The locals tend stand on the right hand side of the bar near to the kitchen and are a friendly bunch.

there is a good selection of beer and wine. The food is good - not the cheapest i have had but the portions are excellent and the menu changes on a regular basis.

There is a nice beer garden out the back which seems to be abit of a sun trap and also a big ginger cat!!
