| A vast improvement since the new management have taken over. Still suffers from it's size; always seeming empty. Prettified and clean, decent food and well kept beer, very good barstaff and service. It will get there. eddyd - 24 Aug 2010 11:25 |
| Awkwardly placed, this is fairly large venue that doesn't know quite how to handle it's size. Nice and spacious, but also a bit bland and lacking in character. Good prices for drinks and food, and the food itself is very impressive. | I went in this pub with my girlfriend 3 months ago and it was a stinking dirty hell hole. WHAT a TRANSFORMATION!! it was clean, there were people in the pub that wern't football hooligans and it actually had quite a warm pleasant feel to it. There were candles on the tables, It had been given a lick of paint and a choice of 2 real ales + numerous lagers and bottles. I was told that in January the kitchen will be opening. I will be back!
