Found the staff to be arrogant and rude and the beers on offer and environment nothing special.

Decent prices and continental beers (par for the course) Spacious with screens etc. Barmaids are a bit dippy, prone to errors, but polite and chatty in general.

now completely changed, new owners, total refurb. A definate food pub now, not really one to cater for the old brigade. Aiming now for discerning older diners. Fairly expensive food for a pub with 'modern' style portions

Awesome Bar, truly outstanding beers, among the best you'll ever taste.
The pope gets the export (Edelstoff) beer sent to him on a monthly basis for his own consumption.
