A very funny set up to a pub with the bar on the middle level and the lower (ground floor) level with no access outside but a good pub with 2 beers from St Austell's on. I had the seasonal Liquid Sunshine (I needed some sun from the beautiful wet weather we've had!) Very tasty

Only 1 real ale on offer the day I visited but by the the walls they normally have plenty to offer from far away! The day I visited Caledonian 80 was on offer and a very good pint it was aswell.

A good locals boozer, but friendly and a very good choice of local ales only! (That's what I Like) I chose the excellent Dartmoor Jail Ale which was on top form

I've just been in today (bank hol mon) and enjoyed my visit. A beer festival was on with many ales from local breweries and all at 2 a pint! An excellent pint of Crondall Breweries' Sober As A Judge. I wish I could have stayed for more but I had to drive home

Great little pub. When I visited on Tues 14th the Harveys pump was turned but I had a wonderful pint of Metropolitan Ale from the Cottage Brewery which was in excellent condition

What a pub! And what looked like a great selection of wonderful beers. I could only have a half, so I opted for the Nelson's Mild (sorry the name has gone out of my head) which was excellent. Would have loved to stay for more but I had to drive!

Good location and very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Average beer though. Greene King IPA and Courage Best were available on my visit (21/3/09)

Nice small local back street pub near the car ferry terminal (obviously the first and last pub in England) The only ale on was Shepherd Neame Master Brew which was in good condition. Good Pub

The Smugglers, St Margarets at Cliffe
Went to this pub yesterday (20/3/09) with the family, The food was great, not cheap, but delicious food and all different cultures. The Beer was average, only Bass and Greene King IPA on handpump. The staff very friendly. All in all a good little pub

I visited this pub for a meal, the food came out OK but they did get one of our orders wrong. The mild was good though. After the meal i decided to stay back for a couple pints of mildbut was ordered to leave the pub as i was drunk! After 5 pints of mild (3.4%) I felt I was OK but the barman thought differently and believed i was drunk and I was ordered to leave. Due to the fact that he would be fined 80 if he served anyone slightly inebriated and unable to drive a car (I walked home) I will not be back to this pub and any other Ember Inns due to their intolorence of locals! The biggest problem is that they continue to serve people on a pub crawl after many pints who come in just for Fosters! (Urgh) and this is the only pub i've found in the south-east that serves mild!

Very quiet pub (I was the only person in on a Monday night) Friendly landlord though. A nice pint of Ringwood Fortyniner was had though, so can't complain, even though I missed my bus home, so had to have another

Looks a bit rough & ready but actually seems very pleasant. 2 Real ales were on offer, I tried the Abbot and that seemed to be in good form. Friendly locals in a friendly pub.
8 Dec 2008 23:32

Very friendly locals pub in Easton. 3 reals ales were on offer, I tried the Tribute from St Austell Brewery and was on top form. A Little bit cramped but a good atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Friendly locals pub with 2 screens for football with 2 matches showing at the same time. Fairly friendly landlord but no real ale, so does not have my vote as a great boozer.
8 Dec 2008 23:25
Decent enough local boozer with 2 real ales on. The Admans Southwold Bitter was OK but not great. Fairly busy pub on a Monday night, and was showing the football. Has the potential to be a great pub. Barman was very welcoming. Closest pub that sells ale to the hotel I was staying (A place with no ale!)

This pub in a village of the same name only has access by water, rail or foot. A very nice peaceful watering hole in the middle of the Norfolk Broads, with no traffic to disturb you
