White Cross, Sidcup

We went to this pub last Wednesday the barmaid was very rude it said on the door that it was dog friendly but I went through the bar to the other side and she waited until we sat down to say dog's aren't allowed there and said well it does there which considering I am not that tall and the sign was a right above your head and not visible at eye level unless you were 7 ft tall but it did have a lot of signs saying children weren't allowed in the bar lo and behold there was a child sitting by the bar so the beer was rubbish and food was barely edible it was all microwaved food would never go to this rubbish pub ever again much better pubs in the area

The Red Lion, Stiffkey

we stayed here last week and was disappointed the breakfast was getting smaller each day and the mushrooms tasted of diesel. the fish the night before had a funny smell to it i should of complained. the pub is not big and the tables near the fire was all reserved and on a weekend you have to be in early otherwise you can't get a table even if you are staying which we was the accomdation is not worth 90 pound a night the pillow was ripped and turned over so you would not see over all a badly run pub with no landlord just a young bar manager and young staff never a good thing in a pub shame lovely area.

The Duke of Wellington, Bourton on the Water

stayed in this pub again and what a change walked in on the afternoon of the victorian evening to hear the bar man slaging of the tourists not a good start the beer was okay once he found we was staying he changed he's tune rather quickly. was shocked to be told we was being charged 15 pound extra because it was a special night never told that when we booked. ate in the restaurant in the evening the wifes starter was not cooked through and neither was my pudding. staff seemed more interested in going home. all in all not a good couple of nights ate somewhere else second night this pub has really gone down hill

The Robin Hood and Little John, Bexleyheath

never been to this pub as every time we come down its closed but will get in someday. heard a lot about it supposed to be a really nice pub which for bexleyheath is a breath of fresh air. look forward to trying out the real ale and having a quiet pint without some idiot getting in my face

The Port William Inn, Tintagel

i think the problem with this pub is the because of the location they think they can charge what they want. had a meal when we came down in the summer ok only a ploughmans food was nice but took ages to come out and was a bit overpriced and the beer was the same. asked about a room and was told it was something like 100 pound a night nearly fell over it really is not worth that much however nice the view

found this pub by mistake just having a stroll around bourton on the water and came across it tucked down a side street. a locals pub by the looks of it but a friendly place all the same with a nice menu and a descent pint what more could you want. staying just before christmas to see the lights and am relly looking forward to it(very dog friendly by the way which is a bonus)

The Horse and Hound, Broadway

first came to broadway two years ago and found this pub to be really friendly. went back last year and the landlady and landlord had passed it over to there son and daughter in law what a different pub no food served in bar of a night just had a diffrent feel to the place not the best boozer in broadway by a long shot. but then again not the most exspensive

The Grasshopper on the Green, Westerham

nice pub the locals are friendly enough, good selection of real ale which is a bonus.and they love dogs, the only problem is the availability of food which on the two previous times we visited they was not serving. once was on bank holiday tuesday evening which is fair enough but they, the other was a saturday night at 7.30 when it stated they serve till nine. maybe they could put a sign up to say they are not serving rather than leaving the food boards up.other than that a great pub
