The Bax Castle, Horsham

Very lovely pub if walking up the South Downs Way and fancy stopping off to warm up. Food OK, not the best I've eaten but well priced. Only issue we had was only 1 person looking after the restaurant and bar, so service was a little stressed even though she did her best.

The White Lion Inn, Thakeham

Lovely country pub. Very small bar, might be worth ringing to check they have a table for food. Definately a locals pub with dogs running amuck, but very friendly with a vast choice of food and drink. Definately worth a visit.

The Queens Head, West Chiltington

Haven't been in for a long time, but the new owners offer take out service as well as cooking fabulous fresh food in house. One of the best steak and pepper sauce pies I've had in a long, long time. Good price too. Would highly recommend a visit.
