What a find!! Over 500 beers on sale in first year of opening. Home to Shiny brewery as well. Must surely be in running for Derby pub of the year.

The Merry Widows, Derby

Decent pint of Doombar and staff friendly enough. Gets a lot of passing trade. Only downside is that it gets full of football nutters on match days.

Not too bad - better than it used to be. A couple of decent ales on. TT Landlord wasn't bad even if a bit pricey

The Neptune, Derby

Called in last weekend. Nothing spectacular. Apart from Doombar they only had keg & lager. Better off with short walk to Midland Road areas.

The Smithfield, Derby

Good friendly pub with excellent real ales & food. Sister pub to the Pattern Makers Arms at Duffield. Both always make you feel welcome. Enter a stranger, leave as a friend.

Pattern makers, Duffield

Excellent pub, best for miles. Enter a stranger, leave a friend. Have also found out that it's the sister pub to the Smithfield in Derby as well.
