The Warwick Arms, Kensington

This 'local' is extremely well maintained..offers a full selection of well kept Fullers beers including a seasonal ,...currently their new refreshing Front Row ale. They have two wood burners and interesting brewery related eclectic bits and bobs everywhere and the bar surface is always shiny and well polished... always a good sign! The staff are always consistently efficient and welcoming. They have good product knowledge and are happy to guide you through the Fullers range. This brewery takes training seriously and it shows.
I regularly drop in for the Sunday Roast carvery where there is a choice of two meats, with fresh vegetables and all the trimmings, the Exmoor beef today was as delicious as always.
The Warwick is a well kept secret and is very different from other somewhat impersonal and more commercial pubs in the area.

Great Friday Indian Buffet and a good sunday roast.

The Swan, Bayswater

This pub has just reopened following a complete freshen up by new owners Fullers...they have as usual done a great job!
Food on the carvery looked fresh and inviting, the service attentive and staff are proud of the new environment. One terrace and a balcony which will be great in the summer. Had a refreshing glass of nicely kept and well chilled discovery.
A nice pub to visit

The Victoria, Bayswater

This pub continues to maintain it's particularly high standards. of service and beer...hence their regular awards.
You are always made to feel welcome and individual....afternoons are best as it can be very busy in the evenings
I am particularly pleased with Fuller's latest seasonal addition ...the Bengal Lancer..this is an excellent hoppy IPA served in excellent condition at the Victoria, as one would expect from this house

The Hereford Arms, South Kensington

Just popped in here during a quiet afternoon for a Jack Frost, seasonal Fuller's ale...was greeted by extremely friendly and welcoming bar staff. I asked for wifi access code which was written down for me and help was offered.. The Jack Frost was in good condition with a good 'blackcurrent' flavour.
Fullers are currently refreshing the outside signage to this pub following their recent acquisition and it is good to see their presence in the area

The Red Lion, Barnes

Called in here this afternoon...warm welcome, attentive friendly staff who regularly patrolled the bar and regularly stoked the real fire in the club style area, where I was seated, to keep it cozy and warm....a nice touch
My London Pride was in excellent condition as one would expect from a house currently holding a Fuller's cellerman of the year award

The Dove Inn, Hammersmith

I am sorry to read the latest reviews but have to agree. Fullers normally keep a close eye on customer reviews..I am sure that the customer focus will return soon.
Had a good pint of IPA here yesterday and am pleased to confirm that the beers are now up to scratch!

The Castle, Holland Park

First visit here, interesting range of eclectic beers and surroundings, Had a pint of Fuller's seasonal Summer Ale which was light and refreshing.
Service...well the guy seemed to resent being drawn away from his newspaper and my change was slapped down onto the counter....so not good!!
There are plenty of other decent pubs in the area....it's worth walking on to the Churchill on Church Street a busy pub which manages to retain a high level of service and a good pint!

The Queens Head, Hammersmith

Yes...CitiGent... this is now a Fuller's pub and they have made some subtle positive changes...give it a go!

Currently closed following, I believe, a kitchen fire...shame as it's a great summer venue..and they were doing really well.hope they sort it out and reopen soon.

OK Things are looking up here....new furniture on the terrace and a good pint of Discovery, straight from the barrel as it was being changed over...good service and much improved quality of beer! Well done

The Prince's Head, Richmond

Greta location on the green...they give you plastic glasses to take out if you wish. Found the bar staff to be efficient yesterday...it was incredibly busy and I only had to wait a couple of minutes. Good selection of Fullers beers ESB Pride Chiswick Discovery and Honeydew
Great on a sunny evening

The Roundhouse, Covent Garden

I too am glad to see that Fullers have just taken this one under their wing...it deserves it as it is looking uncared for right now!
I look forward to a pint of Chiswick or even HoneyDew in the summer when Fuller's have had a chance to settle in!
Great location

The Victoria, Bayswater

Visited this very London pub again today...Fuller's beer at it's best....the Chiswick and Discovery in superb condition as always...I'm told.they always take care to ensure that their pipes are always in A1 condition and it obviously does the trick! You can always be sure of a consistently high quality pint here....ESB, Pride, Chiswick,Discovery with seasonal variations including Gales HSB and Seafarers....Fuller's.HoneyDew only available in bottles...I would like to see it on draught for the summer as it is becoming a very successful alternative to European Lagers.
Bar staff always extremely friendly and helpful

The Hereford Arms, South Kensington

Had a chance to visit this one today and pleased to see a full range of Fullers beers including draught Honeydew.....great for the summer.
My Chiswick was cloudy after 3 attempts....very new unsettled un conditioned barrel I guess!
Staff very friendly and apologetic and immediately replaced it with Pride.
I put it down to teething problems...and has not put me off this recent Fuller's acquisition

27 Apr 2009 17:13

The Swan, Bayswater

Yep...they now offer Chiswick and ESB too...great improvement now that Fullers are overseeing the beer! This pub does need a tidy up and am sure that Fullers will improve things authentically.....the pub deserves it! Fullers own the nearby Victoria which is run exceptionally well

27 Apr 2009 10:48

The Queens Head, Hammersmith

Fullers have a good track record in this area...and I'm sure they will sympathetically put their high standards into this pub too. They are one of the few breweries still expanding their portfolio

27 Apr 2009 10:40

Bakers Arms, Bayford

Recently refurbished by the new very friendly landlord, a great little country inn I wish them all the best in this venture....Mac's brew fewer beers these days but I had a great pint of AK!

10 Apr 2009 22:50

The Churchill Arms, Kensington

Great Atmosphere great Thai food if you can get through the crowds! Probably the most successful pub in the area serving great Fullers beers....would like to see Honeydew on draught for the summer....it's becoming increasingly popular

10 Apr 2009 22:35

The Devonshire Arms, Kensington

I live around the corner to the Dev I wish that Fullers would take over this one too and sort it ....they are building their portfolio in this area and the Dev deserves to be managed more enthusiastically!

The Dove Inn, Hammersmith

A great friendly interesting little riverside pub ......I like Fullers ales and sadly here they are not always at their best,
I always stay safe and drink the draught Honeydew here and save my favourite Chiswick pint for other Fullers pubs. They need to get this right....

10 Apr 2009 22:19

The Bell and Crown, Chiswick

This is how pubs should be....friendly welcoming landlord and staff. Fullers beer in perfect condition cozy log fire and a lovely position on the river.
I was just a bit sad that I missed lunch as the kitchen closed at 3 but hey they deserve a rest.
I will certainly drop by next time.

The Jolly Farmers, Enfield

A great looking building from the outside as most McMullen pubs of this era..Its a huge pub, though sadly..the new interior is somewhat generic to this brewery and looks more like a huge Starbucks than a cozy pub that it once was! Dining areas again a bit brash and feels like a larger version of the newly refurbished Robin Hood at Botany Bay .... maybe I just like a pub to be just that, a pub!

10 Apr 2009 21:52

Robin Hood, Botany Bay

McMullen......they have great well maintained pubs from the outside....I just don't know what they have been doing to the interiors .....hard, bland and characterless dining areas. Their pubs used to be so welcoming and cozy, I'm afraid they have modernised and cloned this one too...just as well that the garden remains unspoiled.
Beer is quite good, although I miss the old Castle Keg from years back....I have converted to Fullers now who brew something for everyone and every season

10 Apr 2009 19:23

The Hereford Arms, South Kensington

Great to see that Fullers have finally secured a couple of pubs in this area...Great beers and dynamic individual management styles. This brewery has an excellent track record and maintains it's houses to a high decorative standard....I wish them well

10 Apr 2009 18:32

The Scarsdale Tavern, Kensington

I am delighted that Fullers have now decided to expand in this area....they have a well proven track record and excellent beers this coupled with dinamic and 'individualised' management styles should prove to be a great success!
