Ye Olde George Inn, Christchurch

One of my fav pubs in Christchurch simply because it has a lovely seated courtyard that is superb to sit in during the summer. Food is generally good and the beer is better. May I take this opportunity to appologise to all the staff for puking all over their toilets a couple of yeas ago. If you are in Christchurch and looking to go somewhere to eat go here!

The Royalty, Christchurch

A proper pub and one of my favourites in Christchurch. Staff are friendly and amusing and beer is always good. Launderette just across the road so handy if you need to do the washing!

The Crumplehorn Inn, Polperro

Very inviting pub! Great food (try the Cornish meat and cheese combo, quite fantastic) and great beer in a great location. Staff very welcoming.

Soho, Christchurch

Incredibly expensive beer, lots of people trying to look attractive and bouncers on the door to keep out the old. Whenever I have had to drink here I have always left after a pint and gone to the Thomas Tripp.

The Walkford, Walkford

Used to drink here in the 1990's and hadn't been in for about 10 years. Jenny and Rob remembered me and my mate and we had a good natter about old times. The pub is still fantastic and retains a superb atmosphere. Food cheap but good and beer in good condition, Highly recommended!

The Bailey Bridge, Christchurch

Used to come here with my young daughter as she could play in kids area whilst I had a pint. Now turned into some kind of Gastropub and my visit was very disapointing. Service was slow and food not particualy scintilating.

The Old Mendip Inn, Gurney Slade

My grandfather was the landlord of this pub in the 1920's and my father was born here in 1924! Just thought I would share that with you.
