The Chester Arms, Castle Bromwich

haunted? thats the reason many people go, to see if they can see the ghost dog on the stairs.its a local tale, or should that be tail? a bit of a local youngsters pub. not for the tourist or older person.

The Farthings, Castle Bromwich

the pub i grew up opposite.changed hands a bit, used to be a rough place, but has improved dramatically. special point:two bars. ive only ever been in the one though, its like two pubs in one. decor needs sorting out though, but nice food at lunch.

The Blythe Hill Tavern, Forest Hill

i really like this pub for a good old cosy sunday next to the warm fire. drinks are cheap, only problem is the smokey atmosphere accumulates a bit too much.

The Capitol, Forest Hill

looks intruging from the outside, being an old cinema, lovely inside to look at, but agree with a previous comment, the atmosphere is zilch.

The Railway Telegraph, Forest Hill

my local. fantastic atmosphere, beautiful terrced area which has heater lamps all winter to sit out. events and bbqs on celebratory days (st george, firework night etc) the only negative point would be the prices of the drinks. pricey!!
