If you like a drink during the day and you want to watch the pennies then this is the place for you, nothing special beer wise but when the weathers ok plenty of outside seating. Older folks flock here during the day as it must be the best value for money pub in the area, good basic food served every day. Try it, The older lads told me its cheaper than their local social clubs!

Fairly dull pub. Drank outside as it was a summer's evening. Beer wasnt special. Quite busy on the Friday I went.

i remember this pub in 1977 when i was a wee whipper snapper and we had to sit outside drinking coke through straws and eating cheese and onion crisps. nowadays it needs entertainment and less of a cliquey atmosphere with better beer, and also it hardly ever stays open past 10.30pm. not a place to get drunk.

the pub i grew up opposite.changed hands a bit, used to be a rough place, but has improved dramatically. special point:two bars. ive only ever been in the one though, its like two pubs in one. decor needs sorting out though, but nice food at lunch.
