The Dog and Bull, Croydon

Old fashioned boozer set in the market area. Nice feel/decor/garden, but prices out of kilter with the area.

Prince Albert, Broadstairs

Large High St pub, with a traditional air to it. Spoilt by clientele and landlord. Never have I so regretted a visit to a pub.

13 Aug 2015 13:36

Neptunes Hall, Broadstairs

Sheps pub with an old fashioned charm, ie basic but wholesome. Not a fan of the landlord or the beer.

13 Aug 2015 13:32

The Dolphin Inn, Broadstairs

I quite like it during the day-locals and students/visitors mingle easily. Has a reputation for trouble on weekend evenings.

13 Aug 2015 13:26

Cramptons, Broadstairs

Bar/nightclub. It is what it is.

13 Aug 2015 13:23

The Charles Dickens, Broadstairs

Seafront bar/restaurant. Quite smart, so probably justifies high prices.

13 Aug 2015 13:21

The Bradstow Mill, Broadstairs

Lively locals pub near the station. For a seaside town, I find it a bit dark and dingy. Thorley pub, so expensive.

13 Aug 2015 13:17

Sovereign, Ramsgate

Cleaner now. Tries to mimic Wetherspoons, but if they open around the corner this place will have to up it's game.

12 Aug 2015 14:38

The Red Lion, Ramsgate

Rough, noisy and grimy. And that is just the clientele. Ale said to be well served, but expensive.

12 Aug 2015 14:33

Queens Head, Ramsgate

Thorley pub on harbour. Great decor, high prices.

12 Aug 2015 14:29

Earl St Vincent, Ramsgate

Back street boozer, not as rough as some.

12 Aug 2015 14:26

Bedford Inn, Ramsgate

Old fashioned pub, without much in the way of real ale. Try hard with a happy hour and cheap meals. Nothing special, but a step up from chain pubs and King Street. Has a certain camp quality.

12 Aug 2015 14:23

The Artillery Arms, Ramsgate

Nice old fashioned boozer, lots of real ale, but how many smug old soaks can you get in one small pub?

12 Aug 2015 14:17

Yates's, Margate

Now called The Gallery.

11 Aug 2015 11:07

The Wheatsheaf, Margate

Greene King Hungry Horse-need I say more?

11 Aug 2015 11:05

The Waverley, Margate

Now Morgans, a cafe/bar with a dance floor.

11 Aug 2015 11:02

Victoria, Margate

Now a curry house.

11 Aug 2015 11:00

The Sheldons, Margate

Now called The Gallery. Bright and airy bar/eatery daytimes with good drinks offers, club at weekends.

11 Aug 2015 10:59

The Promenade, Margate

Brewers Fayre restauant, now with buffet offering, Premier Inn next door. Not sure it can be judged as a pub.

11 Aug 2015 10:52

Princess of Wales, Margate

Friendly local Sheps pub, with two bars and a pool table.

11 Aug 2015 10:46

The Orb Inn, Margate

Sheps pub on a busy road, but recently renovated. Car park and garden.

11 Aug 2015 10:44

The Northern Belle, Margate

New landlord but hopefully not much else will change at this quaint back street Sheps pub.

11 Aug 2015 10:41

Mechanical Elephant, Margate

Fairly typical Wetherspoons, with the upstairs bar better for families/food/seaview.

11 Aug 2015 10:38

The Lifeboat, Margate

I think this was one of the first micropubs in Thanet, still selling real ales and cider from stillages. Now serve local food, which upsets some traditionalists.

11 Aug 2015 10:34

The Flag and Whistle, Margate

Said to have recently re-opened, probably as a micropub with a new name.

11 Aug 2015 10:28

Everybodys Inn, Margate

Friendly local pub, near Theatre Royal. Said to be closed for refurb pre reverting to old name of London Tavern. Some bikers.

11 Aug 2015 10:24

The Barnacles, Margate

Typical Thorley pub-nice feel but expensive.

11 Aug 2015 10:21

The Duke Of Marlborough, Maidstone

Rough and ready locals pub with good landlord/lady.

11 Aug 2015 10:19

The Duke of Edinburgh, Maidstone

Quite a smart Sheps pub, with a petanque pitch.

11 Aug 2015 10:17

The Druids Arms, Maidstone

Much improved Greene King pub, with even the gents now presentable. Ever reliable Ron remains behind the bar daytimes.

11 Aug 2015 10:14

Drakes, Maidstone

I believe this is still closed following extensive flooding. Was a large ale house popular with students.

11 Aug 2015 10:11

The Dragoon, Maidstone

Sheps pub on outskirts of town. Real ale fans tend to go the extra 5 mins to the Flower Pot, so this remains quite a basic locals pub, with pool, darts and Sky sports.

11 Aug 2015 10:07

The Dog and Gun, Maidstone

Popular locals pub with good reputation for it's Sheps led ales.

11 Aug 2015 10:03

The Crafty Alehouse, Maidstone

I think this is Maidstone's first micro pub, opened in cafe premises on the ever busy Earl Street. Not visited yet so no score given.

11 Aug 2015 09:59

Chiltern Hundreds, Maidstone

Food led pub, quite smart.

11 Aug 2015 09:55

The Cherry Tree, Maidstone

Busy locals pub, lots of darts, pool and sports TV.

11 Aug 2015 09:52

The Bower Inn, Maidstone

Much improved but still fairly basic.

11 Aug 2015 09:50

Ashes, Maidstone

Town centre sports bar.

11 Aug 2015 09:47

The Admiral Gordon, Maidstone

Friendly old fashioned local with 2 separate bars.

11 Aug 2015 09:45

Saxon Shore, Herne Bay

Quite a pub-by feel to this Wetherspons, even allowing standing at the bar.
