best place in town, staff are nice, and if ya ask for a cocktail they know how to pour it!

last time i was there was a bit roudy, but i hear it's good most of the time.

The Old Suffolk Punch, Hammersmith
once apon a time this was my local, back when the pub had a real name! now it's more clinical then the hospital accross the road! the staff are great, frendly, and up for a chat with a stranger, but the pub has lost it's appeal, i now know why the old customers have gone on to bigger and better pubs! when will greeneking ever learn that a revamp does not meen bigger profits!

normaly i go in to a pub and have a good time if it is to be had or not, but not here, i'm a smoker, and i almost choked to death! thick smoke, grubby place, donno about the rest o ya, but i find it a bit suspect when i'm trying to enjoy a drink with friends when there are cracks in the celing, the barstaff although friendly and polite, are shouting at eachother and there friends, if anyone who works there reads this please hear my words! it's called the hospitality trade for a reason!

beer is good, staff are great, just dont let the look of the place fool you, a bit run down, but the locals, the staff, and the company make it a great place.

new management! thank god! still a bit of a wannabe, but getting better, they got raffels most nights, staff are nice(hana's a gem), beer is better, food is ok i guess.
if your looking for a friendly place to watch the footie, i say go for it! not a place for the oap's on the weekend though.

The Goldsmiths Arms, Acton
looking good! have to say that since the new manager took over, this place is now a lot better!
the staff are still nice, and helpful. the place is cleaner, and the whole pub now has a welcoming feeling that was missing with the last manager!
so whatever the new manager is doing is working! keep up the good work!
