The Black Horse Inn, East Hanney

Under new management and better for it. This pub is now run as a community pub and it feels a lot more friendly. The new owners, Mark & Clare are great hosts and the food is made fresh - so it may take a little longer than you may be use to, but it is well worth the wait. The deserts are a delight and they do bar snacks too. The garden is a good size with Aunt Sally, picnic tables and catches the evening sun. Some good beers too, Black Sheep to name one. At one end is a large TV which is on for the big events, comfy seats too. The dining area is far enough away not to be disturbed by the TV. It is a nice pub to pop into for a quiet beer, meet with friends or enjoy a wholesome meal with family and friends. And it has wireless internet too.

The Fox Inn, Denchworth

Nice pub, good sized garden with play equipment. Menu good selection, beer good. Staff can be mixed in attitude, but mostly friendly. Book early for Friday/Saturday as often busy

Nice pub, good sized garden, barman can be a bit grumpy - but adds character. Food overall pretty reasonable - some local produce. Beer good. Will be much better know no smoking

The Crown, Sheringham

pub location ok, shame about the motorway style concrete wall blocking the view. Food very average - beer ok. inside could do with a good clean - especially tables and chairs. Wife enjoyed Steak pie, but my Lime Chicken was luke warm - but cooked. Kids chicken crunchies & scampi seemed good. beer yard looked like could be fun when busy.
