The Kings Arms, Okehampton

As we are not local people to Okehampton we popped into this pub and wished we had'nt.

The evil stares we got from everyone made us feel very unwelcome and the pub is not that great either.

AVOID!

Tally Ho Inn, Hatherleigh

This is the best pub in hatherleigh in my opinion.

A cosy place with a reasonable garden nice cider straight from the box too

8/10

The George Hotel, Hatherleigh

All been rebuilt and done up to a high standard. But it really is not my sort of place at all.
It is a modern building trying to be olde worldy and it just did'nt do it for me.

Far too contempary and formal so would only give it a 4/10

White Swan, Crediton

Bigger than it looks from the outside this was a better place than i had
expected.
Open all day from 1000 and also does a good pub like food menu.
Also looks like it is a bit of a late night boozer with a small dancefloor
Would give it a good 8/10

The Globe Inn, Sampford Peverell

Not a bad pub at all.
A good varied place with a resturant style area and a bar area also a smoking area with an outside tv and also a lovely beer gareden.

My only complaint was that my pint (although cheap) was a little under par
so all in all an 8/10

The Welcome Inn, Dawlish Warren

We were disapointed in this pub.
From the outside it looked a nice place with a good patio garden.
But inside was dissapointing not as cosy as we had hoped and more like a cafe.
The jacket potatoe and salad we had was not good at all.
Can only give it a 4/10

The Mount Pleasant Inn, Dawlish Warren

We were a bit disapointed with this pub. From the outside it looked like a
pleasant place with a nice patio garden.
But the inside a a bit like a cafe not a pub and the jacket pototoe with salad
was not very good at all so only a 4/10 from me.

The Crediton Inn, Crediton

Yes this is a decent well run pub where you can relax and forget about all your
worries.Interesting blue paint work in the gents and a nice bar interior.

I would give it 9/10

The Creeks End Inn, Kingsbridge

This is a busy touristy pub but none the worse for that.
It is in a good sunny location and handy for the bus station and tourist info.
Obviously a pub here will be a tad expensive still worth a visit though

The Union Rooms, Plymouth

Not a very good wetherspoons by a long way all the comments here relate to similar experiences that i have had.
2.90 is a lot for a spoons pint of carling which is what i had.

Would give it a 5/10 at the very most

General Sir Redvers Buller, Crediton

I now live in Crediton and have to say that this is one of the better wetherspoons that i have been too.
The food is of a good standard and is always piping hot (not like some that i have been to)
It also doesn't get that busy so getting served and getting a table is never a problem.
My only complaint is it does lack a bit of atmoshere and is a bit light for a pub
All in all though a good 9/10

The Exeter Inn, Dawlish

This pub is currently shut.
Not suprising really as there are so many pubs in such a small area in Dawlish
that their isn't the amount of people to go round
