Nothing special, although compared to most pubs in Reading it would rate above average. Pool tables out the back are a bonus.

Very nice pub which I had the good fortune of living right next to for a year. Food is very good along with the atmosphere.

I always enjoyed this place as a student - at least until I moved next door to the Roebuck. Big (though uninspiring) beer garden, food is OK.

Weatherspoons standard fare - so you know what you are getting - although must congratulate them on making it non smoking.

Best pub in Wareham by far! Lovely setting alongside the quayside. We have taken to regular staying at a nearby campsite and then basically spending every evening we stay at the Old Granary.

Good food - but very very warm when we went (it was August). Friendly staff - and any pub with a full sized bear outside it gets my vote!

I rate this the best pub in Theale. Good prices, good beer and good atmosphere.

Nice welcoming pub with a good screen for the footie and a nice beer garden in the summer.

I have never been there just for a drink, but have eaten there several times and had no problem. Sandwiches are excellent as is the Sunday roast. One time service was a bit slow on getting the food, but to be honest so many places rush you in and out it made for a pleasant surprise. Would recommend.

It's a chain but compared to it's neighbours in the Oracle it is actually pleasantly suprising. Certainly worth a look - and the food is pretty good too.
