Not your average local but has suffered from some very average staff recently! Really well cared for beer and some of the best Lamb Faggots I can remember tasting in a long time. Hope the landlady has it right now as this is a delightful space to while away a few stolen hours. They even let dogs in the bar, brilliant!

Classic local pub with consistently well cared for and everchanging selection of real ale. Hope they don't try and burn it down again with their well stoked fires!! Suffering from the smoking ban, shame! How many great locals are we going to lose....
