The Baltic Fleet, Liverpool

Superb pub, the home-made food here is excellent too, nice ales too which are brewed at the pub, and it's nice to find a pub that sells bottles of Victoria Bitter too

Harvies Showbar, Paisley

Great pub.
My local too.
Like popping in here for a drink after work on a Saturday afternoon.
Nice staff in here too (although bizarrely they don't accept tips!)

Very clean pub, nice chairs, and a decent bar.

McSorleys, Glasgow

A great pub, nice crowd in here too, no neds or pre-clubber types.
Great place to visit before a gig, or when the football is on TV (they have no tv), so you can have a nice quiet drink and get served right away.
The staff are very nice too, nice gallery of photos on the walls also.
One of my favourite pubs in Glasgow.
I could spend the whole night in this place, nice and chilled out.
Only drawback was they had no Baileys on sale, which was unusual for a pub.

The Leamington, Acton

A gem of a find, very old school in style but that's what I liked about it, a pub full of charm and not hijacked by the big chains.
Landlady was friendly and I felt very comfortable in this pub as I was a stranger in town for the day.
I remember the people being in the pub on the day I was there were either locals or Irish (the landlady is Irish too), so it's almost like a mini Irish pub.

Recommended, quaint and a great wee pub.

The Lab, Glasgow

Easily my favourite pub in Glasgow - a hidden away gem from the hustle and bustle, good selection of beers and spirits, very good food, my favourite thing about The Lab is the crowd of people who go, it's not your typical pretentious "hey look at me" Glasgow kind of crowd, nor is it filled with clubbers going for a pre club drink, instead it's usually a crowd of people from late 20s to mid 50s, who are out to enjoy a nice drink away from it all, the music in the background isn't loud either so you can have a decent conversation without shouting.
The test-tube cocktails are always worth trying out every now and again too.
Very friendly bar staff who always speak to you even when you haven't been there in a while.
Recently been refurbished and a good job they have made of it too.

The Old Ale Emporium, Harringay

Nice boozer with very friendly bar staff and very friendly locals. Jukebox actually has a decent variety of songs for a pub. The doubles are very cheap in price and the barman Dave even ordered me a bottle of Campari in when they had none available, will be back next time I visit the Big Smoke when I travel down from Scotland.
