The Freemasons Arms, Covent Garden

Expected this to be dull and anonymous, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was a great pub. Will make a point of going back as I really enjoyed my visit.

The Masons Arms, York

Good traditional pub, full of lively characters.

The Barrels Alehouse, Berwick upon Tweed

Debatably Berwicks best pub. Excellent selection of Real Ales, and good mix of sensibly priced regular beers and lagers.
Downstairs bar frequently has better music than Berwick deserves.
Friendly bar staff and good mix of regular customers / resident eccentrics.
A must for tourists.
