decent alehouse with good selection of beers in a town with limited choice for ale. Wasn't as bright as the picture suggests seemed dark and gloomy inside. Still your best bet for a pin in the town.

Tidy little boozer. Visited a couple of time recently in the afternoon. Would have liked an evening session but hey ho!
My only gripe.....stools/seats by the bar.
Beers was fine if a little cold.

Popped in here on a Thursday evening after spotting it in the GBG. What a treat! The unassuming exterior hides a comfortable and welcoming interior with a homely feel, where people who fancy a pint can sit and chat or listen to the occasional live music. The single bar at the back had five ales on offer and the two I tried were spot on. Nice to see a pub concentrating on what matters - the beer. If you want food buy a bag of nuts or go to one of the many good eateries in Berwick, if you want ale, this is the place to be.

Good range of ales, plenty of seats and even live music sometimes. The best pub in Berwick.

Called in last Saturday afternoon. Plenty of regulars and visitors in to watch the France v Scotland rugby match. What a pub this is, a sure fire 10 rating!! A pity there aren't more like this around.

Sampled ESB and a 6.7%er called Old Jock Ale which was superb. A few more were also available, apart from a decent selection of bottled ales. The ambience and the general interior decor was something to behold! The best pub in Berwick by a country mile. If you're in the area, this is the one to visit.
