The Falcon, Clapham Junction

Massive bar with a great selection of ale and some good lagers. The only let down ls lack of seats. Handy for the station, and obviously preferable to the Slug and Lettuce next door. Good pub. 8/10

The Lord Nelson, Poole

Good for the live music but the beer is absoloutely shocking...someone should really teach them how to keep it...

22 Jan 2010 15:09

The Central Hotel, Parkstone

All boarded up now....probally for the best in the end...shame how a once great pub got into this state...

19 Jan 2010 11:02

The Tatnam Hotel, Poole

Now all boarded up. Probally for the best.

18 Sep 2009 16:16

The Brewhouse, Poole

Excellent quality, cheap beer....some of the locals seem to be of questionable sanity but still seems friendly...good pob 8/10

22 Jun 2009 12:18

The Hogshead, Parkstone

Seems to be exclusivley for teenage mothers lured in by crap tasting cheap beer and food. Not a paticularly nice place...

25 Mar 2009 14:03

The Great Eastern, Brighton

Small cosey pub. Had pint of Harveys Mild. Quite well kept. 7/10

15 Feb 2009 21:03

Spotted Cow, Poole

Better than the weatherspoons in the High Street, but thats like saying Leporsey is better than AIDS...big selection of ale although all completley ruined by the incompetant staff..some who were coversing about how they were going to "kick someones head in" before one of them served me. Usuall hospital standard weatherspoons food...

4 Feb 2009 18:08

The Portsmouth Hoy, Poole

As far as Hall and Woodhouse pubs go the beer in here is pretty good. The food is okay...if nothing special...the main problem is the seeming lack of staff...i waited at least ten minutes at an empty bar waiting to get served...i comparison to some of the other hell holes on the quay however, it is certianly one of the better ones 7/10

4 Feb 2009 18:05

The Poole Arms, Poole

the best pub on the quay by a long way...well kept Ringwood beer and excellent fish...the best around...all reasonably priced too...the blokes toilets have as certian "charm" about them too...

4 Feb 2009 18:00

The Lord Wimborne, Poole

poorly kept beer....stupid and rude staff...rubbish food and full of the scum of poole....avoid..

7 Oct 2008 15:52

The Albion, Poole

now closed

7 Oct 2008 15:50

Goat and Tricycle, Bournemouth

done up a while ago now which took a bit of shine off but still the only decent pub in Bournemouth town centere by a country mile. Great selection of ales and, for such a large number, all very well kept.

30 Sep 2008 18:04

The Bermuda Triangle, Parkstone

East Dorset CAMRA pub of the season summer 2008

2 Aug 2008 18:32

The Porterhouse, Westbourne

Good pub....usual Ringwood range on offer and a guest ale(sadly nowadays seems to often be a Marstons beer) however, beer well kept and nice relaxed atmosphere if not overly freindly.. 8/10

2 Aug 2008 18:28

The Hub Bar and Kitchen, Parkstone

closed down....apparently opening soon as some sort of bistro...

20 Jul 2008 11:12

The Olive Branch, Wimborne

Modern Hall and Woodhouse resturant / bar. Food very good despite being pricey although ther pint of Hopping Hare I had was full of sediment. Wish they paid as much attention to the beer as the do to the food and decor.

10 Jul 2008 11:55

The Bell Hotel, Wimborne

Got an almost antique feel to it. Bar staff seemed friendly and the beer was acceptable. Good Pub

10 Jul 2008 11:51

The Albion Hotel, Wimborne

Stupid "over 21's only" rule and slightly hostile atmosphere. As far as Hall and Woodhouse go however the beer is not bad..

10 Jul 2008 11:48

The Portman, Bournemouth

Average run down Eldridge Pope/Marstons pub. Poorly kept and crappy selection of beer, indifferent staff, it's only saving grace being the Green Room which is alright as a music venue. 5/10

10 Jul 2008 11:44

The Oxford Arms, Camden

Good pint of Guinness and the bar staff were friendly enough. Showing Gaelic football on the TV Decent enough. 6/10

9 May 2008 16:46

The Worlds End, Camden

Average. Crappy toilets and beer, but at least its neer the tube station. Friendly bar staff. A bit touristy but there are worse pubs in London. 4/10

9 May 2008 16:43

The Dublin Castle, Camden

Went in on St Patricks day, well priced (2.50 a pint) although I assume its more expensive when a gig is on. Bar staff were friendly and had a laugh with some of the other people in there. Good pub. 7/10

9 May 2008 16:40

The Rising Sun, Poole

Refurbished. More varied menu now (not just Thai food) but still very good. Good selction of draught largers and Ringwood ales. Good service. 8/10

9 May 2008 16:29

The Angel, Poole

Gone downhill....The staff seem ruder than they used to be. Might have been taken over. Defintely less welcoming than last time. Beer is still ok. 5/10

9 May 2008 16:26

The Tatnam Hotel, Poole

Big pub with three bars. The bar with the pool table seems to be frequented by idiots who seem to be constantly on the look out for someone to start a fight with. The rest of the pub is falling to bits. Poorly kept Ringwood makes up the real ale selection. The bar staff seem friendly enough but thats about it.. 3/10

9 May 2008 16:19

The Fleetsbridge, Oakdale

Was always rubbish as a Beefeater and now even more rubbish as a toby cavery...despite a huge range of keg beers there are no real ales or not even any decent keg beers (just the usual carlsberg / carling / tetley /john smiths rubbish). Didnt try the food but looks rather dryed up as it had been under the lamps for so long...staff seemed gormless and uninterested. 3/10

9 May 2008 16:15

The Central Hotel, Parkstone

certianly got better since my last comment....most of the idiots seem to have gone and it has had a lick of paint...still not brave enough to start drinking the ales again though..!!

29 Apr 2008 00:32

The Bricklayers Arms, Poole

Decent enough pub. Good beer, a nice beer garden and friendly staff. Its only downfall is that it lacks a bit of atmosphere sometimes but if a quiet drink is what you want it is perfect.

16 Apr 2008 12:14

The Harbour Lights, Bournemouth

One of the worst places i have ever been in in my life. Children charging around screaming, unfriendly and incompetant staff, rubbish beer and probally the worst food I have ever been served (the garlic mayonnaise I was served with my chicken burger had actually started to solidify). Its only redeeming feature is the sea view which is quite good.

16 Apr 2008 12:07

The Duke Of Wellington, Wareham

best pub in wareham...excellent beer selection and all well kept...

29 Jan 2008 17:02

The Castle Inn, West Lulworth

went here on sunday....for a country pub in a tourist hotspot you'd expect more than one real ale...food looked average but at above average prices...couldent quite understand why food had to be ordered in the "dorset bar" but could be eaten in the other bar....

29 Jan 2008 17:01

The Sunrunner, Hitchin

good selection of ales and ciders...bizzare almost contental cafe feel about the place....the staff seemed a little bit bermused by the fact i wanted to by a drink...top chips though..

13 Dec 2007 11:47

The Half Moon, Hitchin

Went last saturday while visiting a friend.....excellent real ales they seem to really care about them...best pub i visited on my trip to Hitchin

13 Dec 2007 11:45

The Cow, Parkstone

snobby and pretentious....go to the bermuda triangle instead...saying that though ive only heard good things about the food...

6 Nov 2007 12:34

Le Bateau Bistro, Parkstone

had a lick of paint recently and now have isle of purbeck solar power avalable...nice staff too...

6 Nov 2007 12:31

The Central Hotel, Parkstone

destroyed by the previous landlord....since the top of the bar was ripped out by these fools about a year ago it has died with none in there except a few cocaine hungry chavs. nice if you like your beer to taste like chip shop vinigar..

6 Nov 2007 12:29

The Lambs Green Inn, Wimborne

Varying food (can be great, can be awfull) and ok beer (including erdinger)....nice for a pint on a sunday afternoon..

6 Nov 2007 12:27

The Holes Bay, Poole

Thankfully no longer a brewers fare....a lot nicer inside and they finally have real ale (ringwood best, spitfire and 6X). A lot better than in its preveous carnation although we did not try the food..

6 Nov 2007 12:23

The Angel, Poole

not a bad pub...well kept ringwood beers and one guest ale...

6 Nov 2007 12:18
