Britannia Tavern, Rowley Regis

Awsome beer. Great selection. Food a bit iffy but overall this pub was very nice. Shame about some of the customers.

The locals in the front bar were retarded apes. Obviously out of work loafers claiming social and drinking the proceeds.

Shame

The Plough, Oldbury

A slight oasis in a sea of very bad pubs. What is it with this area that most of the pubs are so poor.

Anyway the plough is a different affair. Friendly clean and the curries are not bad either. The beer is generally well kept and 3 handpulls with Bass as the norm and rotating two guest beers. The locals are friendly. Nice open fires in winter when they bother to light them.

This pub could be a gem if the landlord took a few actions. Perhaps one more handpull and to paint the frontage and sweep the street outside as it can be piled with rubbish taking the look off the place.

Nice boozer.

Wernley, Oldbury

Rubbish sizzling effort. Soleless ,far to big and should be pulled down. Typical rank common city pub. Bar full of nutters.

Food was foul and a lady of sore years sitting in the corner who had clearly urinated herself.

The Waggon and Horses, Halesowen

I really like the pub. Had heard it was somewhat smelly but upon visiting found a real gem of a boozer. Slopping floors and pleasant staff. Nice Cobs and even better beer. I think there was about 14 handpulls on when i first visited and i tried more than a few. All very well kept. I now go back as often as I can. It is quiet and relaxing. Just the job!!

Pity that they dont do more food as i would give it 10/10

The Dirty Duck, Stratford Upon Avon

A simply fantastic pub let down by some serious issues. Firstly the beer is an abomination and rarly do I get a pint worth speaking of. This however is the norm for town centre bozers in Stratford.

The actors that mince in at about 10 - 11 pm on a Friday and Saturday can become very anoying as they arrogantly think the place is run solely for them. Most of them should be in a mental asylum and so the atmosphere plummets when they flounce in. I have heard good reports of the food but I have never tried it myself.

Still I keep going back when im in town so I love it really. Shame about the acidic beer as it leaves me belching and reaching for the rennie on most occasions.

The Vine (Bull & Bladder), Brierley Hill

They certainly don't make pubs like this anymore. Even the locals inside are pleasant and not the usual uncivilized bunch.

Beer is superb. A pint of the mild is exceptional especially accompanied by one of their good value cobs ( a sarnie to non residents ). Best boozer for miles and is next to Merry Hill shopping too so the wife remains happy.
