The Bicton Inn, Exmouth

Arguably the last true pub in Exmouth!
This centuries old coaching house is situated on a back street in the old part of the town. Although small (main bar area with a small back/pool room) it is big in unspoilt character. This is a privately owned, family run, free house and the Guvnor takes great pride in offering at least three local ales at a very reasonable price. A mixed clientele from solicitors to students. There is a very popular live music session (folk/bluegrass) on the first Thursday of the month. This is a cheap, unpretentious back street boozer and long may it last!

The Clipper, Exmouth

New to the area, this Smith and Jones pub fills a gap in the town. The building has decades of history as a drinking establishment (formerly Lennards Bar and Molloys)The exterior is based on a nautical theme, the interior is right up to date. (the tv's showing constant advertising are a pain)
Not much for the ale drinker here but a good selection of drinks and food. The place transforms from beer or coffee during the day to a nice little eatery in the evening.. then ... te seating area lights dim and it urns into a kind of disco bar! ... not too sure about that bit!!!
All in all a very good combination for all tastes

The Grove, Exmouth

Nice little pub on the seafront with a popular walled garden in the summer. Now owned by Youngs with the range of beers on draft or bottled. A good old style (deap red walls and lots of wood) pub. There is a good range of food which of fair price and good quality. Great summer pub - cosey winter boozer.
