i used to live in the area around about 2001 and left again in 2003. this was before the pub had been done up (this happened about 4 months before i left)
the regulars got priority - but name me a pub that doesnt. there was a lovley scottish girl, not sure of her name, that worked behind the bar. i think she also lived upstairs too. the assistant manager was an awful scary woman with short hair and bad taste in clothes. brian was lovley as was josh. rarley seen the manager or his wife. ok pub for beer and food and was always made to feel welcome - but not a regular
