The Lord Hotham, West Molesey

I went in there on a pub crawl of Molesey a few months ago. I had no expectations. But i was actually really pleasantly surprised. The chap behind the bar was a real gent and i'll certainly try to go in there a bit regularly. Thumbs up actually. Looks CAN be deceiving afterall

The Surveyor, West Molesey

This is still the worst pub in Molesey

I went there (mainly for a giggle) to start a pub crawl over christmas and wasn't surprised by the reception i got. Lots of families from the jeremy kyle show were in there; and crappy decor. Soon left after my average pint!

The Bell, East Molesey

I used to like the occasional night in the Bell. Normally a good atmosphere, decent beer etc
But I went in there recently and it has gone RIGHT DOWN THE PAN. I'm not a snob-but it now feels like you've gone into The Surveyor. Very very unfriendly barstaff. In fact-one bloke made snide remarks to one of my pals. One of the girls looked as hard as nails...
Nope, I won't be spending my hard earned in there again. I'll go to the Poyntz or somewhere at Hampton Court instead.
Nowt wrong with a jukebox either-but when suddenly some disturbingly heavy metal comes on with OAPs trying to enjoy a quiet drink on a weeknight, i find it a bit OTT. Still a great looking place, so i'll enjoy the outside as ever when i drive past. But that'll be enough for me and a few of my pals. Shame really

The Alexandra, Wimbledon

Went in last week and really like the place. Old features, but quite swish and very accomodating. Youngs Beer is always good and the staff are pretty friendly. Big screens for the footie.

Thumps up!

No.88 Bar and Grill, Kingston Upon Thames

Ok, I don't have many bad words to say about this one. It's not in a bad location, the beer is pretty good. The staff are quite friendly and there are some nice seating areas (if you can get to them-it does get busy). A bit over-priced, but overall-pretty good

The Poyntz Arms, East Molesey

Orangeboom on tap!

-has to be a contender for best pub in molesey. Decent crowd of people-always friendly. Big screen on matchdays.

The Cannon, West Molesey

enter at your peril. Regulars look like they might eat you...

The New Town, Sutton

under new ownership-really friendly staff; if not a bit slow service! Great at lunchtimes. Consistently good bar meals and good pint of Youngs.

The Cricketers, Dorking

Big screen? What big screen! There's a small monitor in the corner if that counts...

The Grapes, Sutton

rubbish atmosphere. Wouldn't accept a valid provisional driving license for Identification. Pathetic.
