Why does everybody complain about the prices. The Alex was buzzin on saturday. You pay for quality and thats what you get.
Some fine pubs in Wimbledon before hitting the clubs.

Nice pub, but the prices are a rip off. London Fields-Love not War £4.45!!!
Half of London Stout £2.30. Will not be hurrying back. Marked low due to beer prices.

It was just about worth paying £4.75 for a pint of keg Aspall's for a one-off visit to the roof terrace, but at that price I won't make a habbit of it.

The view from the roor terrace is just of the main street from a different angle.

Plush, comfortable and indeed very inviting pub handy for the station. Good range of ales. Would be an absolute class act were it not for some of the clientele who's 'banter' included expletive ridden suggestions about the barmans sexual preferences and behaviour, repeated ever more loudly and repetitively as their pints were guzzler in the early afternoon.
