The Falcons Nest Hotel, Port Erin
Like something from the 1970's. Food and service is truly appaling. It has great views and great potential. Someone please buy it and revamp the whole place - it could be really good.

Full of teens and chavs. Loud dance music most of the time. Wear your Burberry and bring some aspirin if you venture in here.

For a place out in the sticks the food is surprisingly good. Restaurant is non smoking. Beer prices pretty good too. Large TV and pool table in the bar. Seats outside to watch the world go by and enjoy the scenery.

Get rid of your loose change in this overpriced bar. Watch out for the slowest, grumpiest and biggest barman in the world.

Nice cheap food in the restaurant part. Bar very smoky and in need of a revamp. Live bands here most weekends.

Used to have nice food here but it's all gone a bit microwaved. Strange mix of locals and suits from the nearby offices. Place needs a good clean.

Scally central. Just the place to come to get grief from a bunch of football idiots. When the football is not on the place plays music so loud your eardrums bleed. Also the smokiest place north of hell. Actually this place is hell. Everything that's bad in a pub.

Absolutely no reason in the world to visit a dump like this. Life is too short. Great for alcoholics or students wanting to get drunk on a fiver. Avoid.

Clean toilets. Can't think of anything else to say about it. Full of insurance brokers and temps talking far too loud about nothing particularly interesting. Food and drink overpriced. Staff with attitude.

Pub of the year winner and it's no surprise. Great food and service. Always loads of staff on hand. Good value on the drinks front and a really friendly athmosphere. Live bands most Friday nights. Only problem with the place is the live music room is so small.

If you like your pubs full of cackling office girls, wannabe suits comparing mobile phones and overpriced food and beer then this is the place to go. Almost impossible to hold a conversation here as it gets so noisy. If there is a bar in hell it's something like this.

Pub seems nice enough and the food can be really good when you get served. However the service is really terrible. Don't expect to get a lunchtime meal within the hour here.

The Office, Douglas
Recently the live music scene here has changed for the better. The punters do now seem to be more into the music and the atmosphere is a lot better.
