Big hotel in an excellent setting with 2 bars and a great conservatory to sit and watch the sun go down in.Looked very popular with diners.
Decent ales although a little warmer than ideal and just a shame they had no outside seating.

Stayed here - very nice hotel and great breakfast. The bonus of the walk round the island I was on was that the Falcons Nest was hosting a beer festival (their 2nd apparently).

As can be seen from the picture above, the Falcon's Nest enjoys pride of place on the hill overlooking the bay at Port Erin. The conservatory is a great place to watch the sun go down and our visit coincided with the first time during the day that the clouds had cleared and the sun was setting on the horizon. This is a proper hotel, but the bar area does entertain locals. Visitors tend to be found eating in the conservatory. Greene King IPA & Old Speckled Hen, Holts Bitter, Okells IPA & Bushys Bitter were all on. Our B & B owner, who we happened to bump into here, was very complimentary about Thwaites Wainwright. Apparently when it is on, it sells out within a matter of hours!

Visited twice in the week - beer was very good both occasions, with staff and locals very friendly. Food is served in the bar, which includes conservatory with great views over the bay, or in a dining room in the hotel area. Food was reasonable value pub grub, but crab sandwiches were excellent.

Large hotel on the front next to the railway station. 5 beers on offer including Okells IPA. Bushy's Manx and guests (from Everards and Batemans last week) from 2.50.

Quality was excellent and service good.
