Waxy O'Connor's, Glasgow

I love the Waxy's pubs! Been to the one in London quite a lot and visited this one in Glasgow recently. As ever, AMAZING surroundings! Plus the staff were really chatty and our food was lovely. We had the stew and a burger (which was massive!). They have loads of different areas which were all booked out that night. Will definitely be back next time im in Glasgow!!xx

DesVins Cafe and Wine Bar, St Pancras International Station

I was another one who came across desVins by accident! I was intrigued by the drinks cart and I have to say I was impressed with that the most! Being able to grab a quick Gin and Tonic for the train was right up my street. Being in St Pacras a lot, it has become my new place to watch the world go by, and I'm a big fan of the massive pastries in the mornings now!

Waxy O'Connors, Piccadilly

I love waxy's! We go there after work all the time and I don't think you can call it Plastic Paddy at all because it's more interesting and makes a lot more effort than your average Irish pub! I always go for the GAA too and wouldn't go somewhere like O'Neil's for it beacause it doesn't have the same character. Food is also good, it's not the usual Irish crap - it's above the average pub grub.
Can't recommend Waxy's enough - it's always busy because it's great!
