The Museum, Sheffield

A fantsatic Greene King pub. The Guiness is one of the best I've had as is the Abbot Ale. A great atmosphere inside, usually very busy which I think adds to the ambience. Abbeydale beers aer the usual guests, I recommend the Abbott or Speckled Hen if not a fan of Abeydale. Usually great service. Only once been disappointed with this pub when they served me a Speckled Hen that was so off it was practically vinegar. Despite that, stop here for a lovely Abbott in it's own glass.

The Devonshire Cat, Sheffield

Decent pub quiz. The best I have found so far in sheffield. A gallon of beer as the prize, 8.30pm Mondays. Wide selection of beers that change frequently so I wouldn't like to comment on what was there although I had a Dunstable Giant; if that is still there when you go I recommend it.

Harlequin, Sheffield

Not that impressed given the reviews. Worth a try if you're in the area and a few good ales on; Justinian, Strawberry Blonde and Acorn Porter are the ones we had. Fairly run-down inside but again worth a stop for the beer if nearby.

The Riverside Cafe Bar, Sheffield

Not worth going to for the river. The river is basically a sewer. The local Riversaide Pale Ale is very nice. Slightly on the expensive side. A nice interior. Stay inside and don't stay for more than one. 5 starters for 7 is very good though.
