Park Inn, Woodsetton

Different interior from what I visited a number of years ago - staff were very efficient and polite - upon my visit 29/04/2011 there was a promotion on the Guinness @ � 1.50 per pint !!!! Holden's April Shower was very enjoyable @ � 2.60 per pint & Holden's Autumn Glow @ � 2.40 per pint. Very good experience.

The Old Swan, Netherton

One of the best pubs I have ever visited - Swan Dark 4.2 % @ � 1.90 a pint was excellent - the bar is very interesting - just over a mile walk from Cradley Heath station - will be visiting with friends to this excellent establishment in the very near future. Also the customer service/bar staff are a credit to their profession.

Very interesting interior of pub, well worth a look around - tried a pint of their bitter which was very flat - barmaid was very good and played some good records on jukebox (T-rex, Thin Lizzy etc.) only about half a dozen people in on a Saturday afternoon - compared to the Barrels over the road how does it compete ? There is so much potential there !

Ye Olde Black Bear, Tewkesbury

Very interesting interior, large beer garden backing on to the river (packed when the sun comes out) Wells Bombardier on cask � On our visit on a Saturday between 5 and 10 pm they do a good mixed grill and steak with extras like eggs and onion rings for � 6.99 including a drink � I must say my medium rare steak was very good � worth a visit

I must comment on the excellent bar staff in this place � very friendly and efficient � 2 rooms � the toilets are a good walk up the stairs (both of them !) Thatchers Old Rascal � 1.85 and Westons Old Rosie � 2.10 per pint were very enjoyable � definitely worth a visit

The Newhampton Inn, Whitmore Reans

Update on my previous visit � Thatchers Heritage � 2.75 per pint � decided to visit the beer garden next to the delightful pavilion by the bowling green � unfortunately our visit was ruined at approximately 5.30 on Monday 26 April 2010 by a large group who started fighting, women screaming and crying � the incident got very unpleasant that my wife and I were investigating ways of leaving and left as soon as an escape route could be found

Excellent pub - Thatchers Heritage � 2.52 a pint was great - open fires was really welcoming from the freezing weather outside. Coronatiom chicken crusty cobs and 'real' chips for � 1.75 was very tasty.
