The Uplands Bar and Brasserie, East Dulwich

Nice airy boozer with a slight european feel most of the time (if you ignore the alchies in the corner). Really good food. Nice influx of late drinkers after 11pm on the weekend.

The Crown and Greyhound, Dulwich

I really love this pub. It's huge inside with big old rooms and wooden seating and has one of the best beer gardens in London. The roast is good (though it took AGES to get served last time) and the pistachios are nice to nibble on over a few pints.

On hot sunny days I must admit that there are too many children running around BUT perhaps I too will be one of those annoying parents who let their kids do that so I'll keep mostly quiet on that... Drink to blur out their screams is my advice.

The Clock House, East Dulwich

It's lovely to sit outside in the summer (phew, I dont suffer from hayfever) OR even ok if it's not snowing in the winter...
The staff aren't the best but it's a nice looking pub and not too smokey.

St Paul's Tavern, Moorgate

A cosy little pub with friendly staff, a good place for after-work drinks.
The food isn't really up to much although the nachos are tasty.

The Podium, Moorgate

Ok, so it's a slightly dodgy mostly men inner city pub BUT it has character and most of the staff are friendly and the clientelle isn't too pretencious... The pizza is quite good and the prices are fine for Moorgate.
Bring back the outdoor seating on benches for summer though!
