If you like your music loud and heavy, then this is the place to go. Okay, they don't sell real ale but what they do sell is cheap by city centre standards and served by friendly staff. Also has a good mix of clientele, from accountants to goths and bikers.

Simply the best pub in Birmingham. Timothy Taylor's Landlord, Marston's Pedigree and about four other real beers in a real pub. Oh and the food is excellent too.

Fell on this place by accident. Used to use it when it was the Grapevine as I worked locally. Now 10 times better. Well kept Landlord and live Blues music as well. Splendid.

The Costermonger, Birmingham
Go to Scruffy Murphy's instead. This pub has lost all it's appeal since it was refurbished.
