| CHAV city... I couldn't agree more when I first called into this pub. It had more than its share of sports wear, Burberry and bling. Loud drunken badly dressed charvers do nothing to enhance a pubs image. But this is still one of the friendliest pubs in Erdington, if you ignore the chav factor. The staff are first rate and make any stranger welcome. Over the past few weeks there has been a noticable reduction in the chav factor, and there is zero tolerance for drug use (a big problem in the area) and its good to see no one (regardless of often they use the pub or how much they spend) escapes the rules. The pub is closing down soon for a major refurb and hopefully it will attract the sort of customers they deserve, one's who wear something other than tracksuits. the_road_goes_ever_on - 7 Sep 2006 13:29 |
