| Ona weekend break last Saturday, we were insulted and shouted at by an employee of the company. It ws a freezing cold evening and the DJ propped the door wide open and disappeared outside to get his gear. M husband closed the door after a while and when the man came back he asked us if we had closed the door and then swore called my husband a number of insulting names - just for closing te door! My husband took his cider back to the bar (is was quite flat when he got it, as he suspected they had used a wet glass but he was not going t complain), and was told basically, that th DJ can say what he likes to customers and they can't do anything about it! | The beer is of fantastic quality with an amazing selection. The staff were well mannered and served with a smile. With this in mind, it was a very retro/old fashion atmosphere where a casual drink or a slightly larger occasion could both be on the cards.
