Not at all impressed by this pub. In fact we walked out completely dissatisfied. Only one person behind bar but joined by another. It was not busy but I waited to be served with three other people. Waited my turn and during that time others came into the bar. People who came in ten minutes after me were served immediately and my wife an I were completely ignored. There are plenty of other pubs wanting custom so they will not get my custom in the future. Perhaps the staff were put off by a man in a suit and tie. I made a comment as to why we were ignored and although the barmaid heard me there was no response.

Very clean pub, pity about the lack of hand pumps, it was warm and welcoming on a cold and miserable day.

No handpumps and dominated by two televisions

Looks a bit manky from outside with a decrepit old door leading to what I expect to be the beer garden. In fact the place is ok.Young lass behind the bar very chatty as were the local.Sat outside in the sun enjoying a nice pint.
