In here last Saturday early evening and a fair crowd in.
Piped music is playing in the background.
3 hand pulls but one was blank and one was for the dreaded Doom Bar so I went for a pint of the Woodfords Wherry which was nice and cost £3.50.

A great little pub. Once had the reputation as a bit of an old bloke's pub, but now has a younger clientele as well as the regulars. Everyone's very friendly and the staff are great. Beer is better now with Woodford Wherry a recent addition as well as the Greene King IPA. Occasional live music nights are great fun.

Very handy location for "the station" funnily enough, sadly still only dull GK IPA on draught so opted for a nice goblet of aspall cider, nice friendly little pub though, 6/10

MUCH better now Chelsea is the landlady!

A nice clean pub, with entertaining regulars, very good beer, rugby on the TV, and a very cute Aussie barmaid - what more do you need?

Lively, friendly pub, but quite expensive. However, T
the Greene King IPA was the most bland pint i have ever tasted - and for that beer, it is saying something!
