Have now been to this pub twice and eaten there on each occasion. Excellent food and drink, excellent service together with a warm welcome and a clean pub. Highly recommended.

The chef is a complete asshole....shame really because the pub deserves better. We will not ever come here again until he moves on. !!!

This is a warm friendly pub in an unspoilt Somerset village. The staff gave a warm greeting and offered a good choice of ales from the bar. The Lord Nelson could be better described as restaurant/pub more than pub/restaurant. The food menu offered great choices with a specials board as a bonus. Food was A1 in taste, quality and quantity and priced very reasonably... so good we went back the next night as we were staying locally.
The only critisism was the noise from a group who arrived 'well plastered' on Thursday night and spoiled the atmosphere of the place.

Very good food, friendly staff, but very noisy bar when we visited on a Friday night. Gets busy, so book early. Plenty of car parking, very scenic village. Worth a look.

Good village pub - friendly staff, well-kept beer and modest range of good food.
