Not a pub but a late night bar. Now closed for the forseeable due to fire/smoke damage.

No loss to the area.

What most of the people commenting here seem to have forgotten is that Sosho is predominantly a late night bar/club space, and if you think of it like that, it works quite well. Nice space, good DJs, and usually a lot of people making for a decent atmosphere.

Go along once you're already pissed and you're looking to make a proper night of it. I wouldn't go there straight after work for a cheeky pint as it's too noising and expensive for that.

If I never set foot in Sosho Match again, it will be too soon. Terrible aircon, way way too noisy (even for an after work drink), takes hours to get served, awful beers, staff rude, generally tedious. I think this is what you get when the clientele are more worried about pulling and what they look like than what they're drinking or communicating with each other - comment below about someone throwing up over herself sums it up really. Perhaps I'm just getting old, but my heart sinks whenever someone organises leaving/birthday/recruitment drinks here.

High prices, although not a bad place for a late drink if you're up for paying for it. The cocktails are good, but far cheaper in Context down the road.

If you like to try very hard and acheive little in the way of fun, roll up and have a few overpriced cocktails.
