Dirty and unkempt, that’s the landlord I’m talking about and his wife was only marginally better although she was pleasant whilst serving me
Full of locals who thrive on bad language in this dirty place
I couldn’t wait to get out and am not going back in.

I went in on a Sunday Lunch last year and was amased that there were a right bunch of erberts in there all talking football and eating sandwiches and talking with thier mouths full, bad manners. I asked one of the chaps he he would mind not speaking with his mouth full and he told me FO, rude man. I was with my bird who I had only met the night before, she said 'punch him', I was shocked. Anyway the food they were eating looked microwaved and very poor quality. I quite like this place and shall be returning but defo not on Sunday.

We decided to go for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and what a disappointment!
The Pub itself is located in a lovely setting but the Management let this Pub down. They had a 14/15 year old chavvy girl serving the food who clearly had attitude problems. She was yelling at people to find out who's food it was she was serving and then proceeded to use foul language to a couple of regulars. The food was cold and bland, not the cheapest of Sunday lunches so we naturally expected the food to have some sort of flavor. A week or so later we decided to go down to see a band play, the band was good but the same girl stropped in behind the bar and started demanding something from the sour faced Land Lady, it was at this point we realised that the girl in question was the Land lady's daughter. The brewery should sort out their Managers, this Pub has had a succession of useless Managers that will ultimately bring the Pub to it's knees. We will be writing to the brewery to make a formal complaint, this Pub has potential but not until they sort out their staff out!
