It has reopened. We've visited twice now; first time was just for a couple of pints, second time was for a meal.

The drinking part. The village needed a decent place to drink and the bar section of the White Hart is it. There are some lovely old features and it's a decent size. My wife loved the NZ Sauvignon Blanc, which was both tasty and well chilled.

Food-wise, I can't offer a broad review as we both just had rib-eye steaks. They were really good though; everything on the plate down to the tomato was excellent. They were also very reasonably priced.

Both nights the staff were great. Still a little finishing decorating to be done (e.g. cupboards under sinks in toilets awaiting installation), but I've assumed that'll be done shortly.

A very pleasant evening spent here last night, there's life in the old place again. A handy two minute walk from the station makes it convenient for non-villagers like myself. Friendly staff make it ideal for an evening pint

Popped in here tonight on it's re-opening with new a new landlord. Quite busy and food starting again soon. The standard Badger ales available including Hopping Hare for the summer. Nice conservatory and patio round the back

Excellent pub with great beer selection and good food. Landlady is very pleasant and accomodating. Lovely area out the back for summer evenings.
