Fairly nice Hall & Woodhouse pub situated just to the north of Wimborne. There are 2 rooms - the Village Bar, which had a few young customers and a larger lounge with only one table occupied, until a local sports club (possibly hockey) arrived. Only 2 beers were on - First Gold & Pickled Partridge. The fridges looked a little bare. Could be better if it wasn't a tied house.

Er...to correct the review below from savapub, beer is Badger - not Ringwood - as it's a Hall and Woodhouse pub. Not a bad place, lovely vista's out the front over the peaceful woodland burial ground. Massive underdeveloped garden out the back. Bet this is turned into a campsite before too long. Beer always nice and well kept if a little pricey - but then that's what a brewery tie does for you.

From strength to strength. The community minded landlady tries very much to involve the local community hosting a number of events. Food is pretty good (my son likes it) beer is Ringwood and ok, but not for me and I remain one of the Guinness drinkers.

Spent a very pleasant Sunday afternoon in the Horns. Really don't know why we don't visit more often. Great service, good choice of home cook food and good beers. The garden is a real plus with lots of people across all ages enjoying the Autumn sun. A proper pub not far out of Wimborne.

Went there with a load of friends - Nice Pickled Partridge pint. Didn't have food but it looked nice. Good pub. Did headstand on the bar - easy!
