| Fantastic little pub on the B6006 Melton road. Two small rooms that have been opened out giving a warm feel. I did hear this was a community pub, and certainly when I visited on a Saturday afternoon it was full of friendly locals. They don't serve food on a regular basis, but have themed nights. A fish and chip van visits every Tuesday @ 8.15pm, they have wood fired pizzas on special days and the odd Sunday lunch. There is a little courtyard to rear, along with two or three tables on the front. Darts is also well served with three boards. Beers were Ansells best, Charnwood vixen and Castle Rock Harvest pale.
