| I was very impressed by this small village pub. As far as I could see, it had only the one room with a friendly landlord and equally friendly locals. A small TV was showing the rugby in one corner. But conversation appears to be king here. 2 ales were on during our visit - Cross Bay Sunset and an excellent Isle of Arran Dark Ale. | A gem of a pub. I was made most welcome, had a good pint of Springhead Maid Marian. On saying my farewells, I get an apology for the pub being so quiet. | Absolute stunner of a pub from days gone by, but great for it, flag flooring, open fires, two ales on on my last visit, theres a snug to the right as you go in and a bar to the right which houses the actual bar.
